JPEC Outreach

On March 30, 2011 Kwasi Dunyo and his son gave two outstanding drumming workshops to a combined grade 2 and 3 and a grade 1 class, as part of JPEC’s Outreach Program, at the Waterfront School at Queen’s Quay in Toronto.

The Principal and teachers were delighted with this energetic and interactive activity. The children’s response of was a joy to watch.

Waterfront is a multi-cultural school and spans many ethnic backgrounds.

Music (and jazz) is a “universal language”: the children certainly related to expressing themselves through it.

I hope this gives you a little taste of what we all experienced.
